The Justin Sun Prize has launched a pilot program in partnership with MathDB, a research platform led by Caltech Professor Tony Yue Yu. The initiative focuses on 50 mathematical problems, offering rewards of up to $1 million per problem depending on the specific challenge.

The pilot covers significant mathematical problems, including the Riemann Hypothesis, P versus NP, the Hodge Conjecture, and the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture. MathDB will manage the submission and verification process, utilizing Lean formalization to ensure rigorous proof validation.

Rewards for successful submissions are structured into three categories: 50% for the mathematical solution, 30% for Lean formalization, and 20% for the exposition of the work. Participants must comply with official program rules and anti-money laundering regulations.

The Justin Sun Prize aims to promote decentralized and machine-verifiable scientific research. By integrating human insight with machine intelligence, the project seeks to establish a new model for mathematical discovery and open-source knowledge sharing.
