Ripple has updated its corporate treasury management platform, Ripple Treasury, with new AI automation features and 24/7 returns for eligible digital assets. The update, announced on September 10, 2026, integrates the GSmart AI layer to assist with liquidity management, forecasting, and risk assessment.

The GSmart system functions by monitoring processes and providing actionable recommendations based on corporate policies. To ensure compliance and oversight, all AI-generated suggestions include policy citations and require manual approval from a human operator before execution.

Ripple Treasury currently serves over 1,000 customers across 160 countries and maintains connections with 13,000 banks. The platform manages an annual payment volume of approximately $12.5 trillion. Adoption data shows that 60% of eligible clients use Risk Insights, while 44% utilize Forecast Insights.

The platform was formerly known as GTreasury, which Ripple acquired in October 2025 for $1 billion. The GSmart AI layer was originally launched in June 2025. Earlier in 2026, the company added digital asset management capabilities, allowing users to handle traditional cash and digital currencies within a single system.
