Adobe has officially released its Premiere mobile application for the Android platform, following its initial launch on iOS over a year ago. The app is now available for download on the Google Play Store.
The core video editing suite is free to use, including tools for splitting, trimming, cropping, merging, adjusting playback speed, and adding text or audio layers. Users can export 4K videos without watermarks at no additional cost.
Monetization is focused on generative AI features powered by Adobe Firefly, which require the purchase of credits. Users can also pay for additional cloud storage space within the application.
To install the application, devices must run at least Android 13 and possess a minimum of 5GB of RAM. Adobe plans to introduce further updates, including Adobe Fonts integration and enhanced subtitle tools.
