The Anycubic Kobra X 3D printer is currently available for $299.99 for Amazon Prime members, marking its lowest price since the product launch. The device features a build volume of 260 x 260 x 260 mm and supports printing with materials including PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, PLA-CF, PETG-CF, and ASA.
The printer is equipped with the ACE Gen 2 multimaterial system integrated into the toolhead. During testing, the system demonstrated significant efficiency in color swaps, completing a four-color print with 776 swaps 10 hours faster than the Bambu Lab A1. The unit supports up to 19 colors when using four ACE 2 Pro units.
Technical specifications include a maximum printing speed of 600 mm/s, 49-point automatic bed leveling, and vibration compensation. The printer also incorporates a 720P camera for real-time monitoring, AI-based spaghetti and foreign object detection, and operates at a noise level of 48 dB or less.
The Kobra X launched earlier this year, with consumer shipments beginning between late March and early April. The hardware includes a color touch screen interface and an automatic Z-bed leveling system to assist with print preparation.
