Helsinki-based startup Zero has secured €10.3 million in a seed funding round led by Primary Venture Partners. The company, founded in 2024 by Tuomo Riekki and Santtu Koivumäki, previously raised $2.7 million in a pre-seed round in December 2024, bringing its total financing to $13 million.
The round saw participation from Inception Fund, Defiant, Greens, and the founders of Lovable, Supercell, Langdock, and Silo AI. Returning investors include 20VC, James Hawkins of PostHog, and various executives from companies such as OpenAI, Meta, and Spotify.
Zero aims to replace traditional CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Attio with AI agents that operate in the background. The platform monitors communications on platforms like WhatsApp and LinkedIn to automate lead generation, note-taking, and record management.
The company currently employs 13 people and plans to expand the team to approximately 20 members by the end of the year. While product development remains in Helsinki, Zero is opening a sales office in New York to support its go-to-market strategy.
The global CRM market was valued at approximately $287.26 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $633.34 billion by 2030. Zero faces competition from established players and startups like Attio and Clay, which have raised significant capital.
