Paris and New York-based startup Vocca has secured $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Norrsken VC. The round also included participation from Heal Capital, Speedinvest, Firstminute Capital, and angel investors from Alan and Datadog. This investment brings the company's total funding to $25 million, following a $5.5 million seed round in September 2025.

Founded in July 2024 by CEO Eliott Hoffenberg and CTO Hugo Danet, Vocca provides an AI-powered phone assistant for medical practices. The system handles patient calls, schedules appointments, and manages administrative tasks. The platform integrates with existing medical software, allowing for deployment in days. It is designed to comply with HIPAA regulations and holds relevant data security certifications.

Currently, Vocca serves 15 000 practitioners across 1 500 practices in over 20 specialties in the US and Europe. The company reports that its AI resolves an average of 70% of conversations without human intervention, with top clients reaching over 85%. Since its seed round, the company has seen a tenfold increase in monthly call volume and a sevenfold growth in revenue.

Vocca plans to use the new capital to enhance its scheduling infrastructure, expand into new communication channels, and cover more complex medical scenarios. The company, which currently employs about 40 people in New York and Paris, intends to hire an additional 40 staff members by the end of 2026 to support its growth and deeper expansion into the US market.
