New York-based investment firm Catalio Capital Management is seeking to raise $500 million for its latest fund. The capital is intended for startups operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and clinical care.

Founded in 2020, Catalio currently manages approximately $2 billion in assets and has recorded over 20 exits. Since mid-2025, the firm has successfully closed two funds that exceeded their initial targets, including the Catalio Nexus Fund IV, which raised more than $400 million.

The firm maintains ties to major industry figures, with KKR & Co. holding a partial stake since 2023. The advisory board includes KKR co-founder Henry Kravis as co-chairman and former Johnson & Johnson CEO Alex Gorsky.

In September 2026, Catalio led a $311 million Series E funding round for Enveda Therapeutics, a company focused on AI-enabled drug discovery. This transaction increased the valuation of Enveda to approximately $2 billion.
