Berlin-based startup YGO has secured €8 million in a Series A funding round led by Ventech. Other participants included Sake Bosch, Caesar Capital, and several business angels. The company plans to use the capital to expand its sales and go-to-market efforts, further develop its AI platform, and acquire new enterprise clients outside the DACH region.

Founded in 2023 by Julian Kögel, Willi Ibbeken, and Sebastian Kreutzberger, YGO provides infrastructure that integrates hotel and product data into existing booking systems. This allows travel suppliers to offer semantic search, automated customer service, and personalized recommendations. The platform currently supports over 5,000 verified facts per hotel listing for AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini.

YGO has transitioned from a consumer-focused app to a B2B supplier model. The company currently serves around 10 customers, including Condor and Bentour. It reports processing over €15 million in bookings, with annual recurring revenue reaching seven figures within six months. The team has grown to 20 members based in the United States, Africa, and Europe.

The startup aims to help suppliers retain margins as travelers shift from traditional online travel agencies to AI agents. While competitors like Expedia and Booking focus on customer-facing interfaces, YGO positions itself as a neutral infrastructure provider. The company is currently negotiating with various travel brands worldwide to scale its operations.
