French enterprise software startup Pigment has secured $250 million in a Series E funding round, reaching a valuation of $2.3 billion. The round was led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, a new €5 billion investment vehicle managed by EQT, which aims to support the growth of European technology companies.

The investment round also saw participation from World Innovation Labs, based in Palo Alto and Tokyo, alongside existing investors such as Greenoaks, Iconiq, IVP, and Meritech. Nvidia also contributed to the round, following its previously announced investment. This follows a $145 million Series D round in 2024 led by Iconiq.

Pigment provides a business planning platform for finance and operations, competing with established players like Microsoft, SAP, IBM, and Anaplan. Its client base includes Siemens, Unilever, Anthropic, and ElevenLabs. The company plans to utilize the new capital to accelerate research and development and expand its engineering team.

The Scaleup Europe Fund, which has also backed companies like Mistral and Iceye, was established to strengthen the European tech sector's competitiveness against the United States and China. Pigment founders Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli stated that the company intends to focus on developing autonomous planning workflows powered by AI agents.
