The Series A funding round was led by Ventech, with additional participation from Sake Bosch, Caesar Capital, and several business angels. The startup plans to allocate the capital toward scaling its sales and go-to-market operations, enhancing its AI platform, and expanding its customer base beyond the DACH region.
YGO provides an AI-driven infrastructure that allows travel companies to integrate search, booking, and customer service features into existing systems. The platform structures fragmented data from hotels and airlines, enabling semantic search and automated booking processes. This approach aims to reduce reliance on traditional online travel agencies and metasearch platforms, which typically charge commissions between 15 and 25 percent.
The company currently serves clients including Condor, Bentour, and GetAway Group. Reported performance metrics from its customers include a 90 percent reduction in manual operations, a 20 percent increase in conversion rates, and a 2.4-fold growth in average order value. Ralf Usbeck, founder of TravelTainment and Peakwork, has also joined the team to support further development.
