Berlin-based travel technology startup YGO has secured €8 million in a funding round led by Ventech. Additional participants included Sake Bosch, Caesar Capital, and various business angels. This follows a previous funding round in August 2024, where the company raised €2.5 million led by GetAway Group.
Founded in 2023 by Julian Kögel, Sebastian Kreutzberger, and Willi Ibbeken, YGO provides infrastructure that connects travel companies with airlines and hotels without requiring changes to existing booking systems. The platform uses AI to structure fragmented data, enabling travel inventory to be accessible and bookable through AI agents like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
The company offers products such as an AI-powered Hotel Q&A layer and an AI distribution tool. Current clients include Condor, Bentour, and GetAway Group. According to YGO, one airline client achieved a 90% reduction in manual operations and a 20% improvement in conversion, while another saw a 2.4x increase in average order value.
YGO has reached seven-figure recurring ARR within six months and has processed over €15 million in bookings. The new capital will be used to scale sales and go-to-market operations, enhance the AI orchestration platform, and expand the customer base beyond the DACH region to include enterprise and mid-sized travel firms.
