ASI Inc., a startup specializing in AI-driven infrastructure management, has secured $325 million in a Series C funding round. This investment brings the company's total valuation to $3 billion. The round was led by Spark Capital, with participation from Citadel Securities, Craft Ventures, Meritech Capital, Energy Impact Partners, and Andreessen Horowitz.

The company develops AI models designed to simulate physical environments and manage critical infrastructure. Its client base spans the aviation, defense, and energy sectors, including organizations such as the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and National Grid USA. The software assists in real-time operational planning, demand forecasting, and command-and-control tasks.

In June, ASI signed a 12-year, $875 million contract with the Federal Aviation Administration to manage air traffic across the United States. The software was deployed at Dulles International Airport last month, with plans for a nationwide rollout. Additionally, the company recently secured a five-year, $99 million deal with the U.S. Army for command-and-control software.

Founder and CEO Phillip Buckendorf stated that the new capital will be used to scale operations across existing sectors and expand into new industries, such as logistics. The company also intends to increase its investment in research and engineering to further enhance the capabilities of its AI platform.
