Stockholm-based Tandem Health has secured €86.5 million in a funding round led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT. Existing investors, including Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective, and Visionaries, also participated. This latest investment brings the company's total funding to €138.38 million, or $160 million.

Founded in 2023 by Lukas Saari, Oscar Boldt-Christmas, and Oliver Astrand, the company develops an AI-native operating system for clinics. Its medical assistant handles documentation, coding, and clinical decision support. The platform is certified as a Class IIa medical device under EU regulations and holds multiple security certifications, including ISO 27001 and HDS.

The startup currently supports over 10,000 care organizations across 14 European markets, including major providers like Ramsay Sante, Humanitas, and the NHS. In January 2025, Tandem Health acquired the Dutch medical scribe company Juvoly to expand its documentation capabilities.

The company plans to use the new capital to scale its operations and grow its team, which currently includes over 75 in-house clinicians. The goal is to evolve the platform from a medical assistant into a comprehensive operating system that manages patient flows and additional clinical tasks.
