The Indian startup TakeMe2Space is set to launch its MOI-1A satellite on October 1, 2026. The spacecraft weighs less than 50 kilograms and will be deployed as part of the SpaceX Transporter-18 mission.

The satellite features Nvidia Orin NX processors, which enable onboard computing. This architecture allows for data processing directly in orbit, reducing the volume of raw information transmitted to ground stations.

TakeMe2Space has secured contracts with 23 clients, including educational institutions and firms specializing in geographic information systems. Among the partners is the American company Little Place Labs.

Clients gain the ability to upload containerized AI models to the satellite. These models process data as the craft passes over specific regions, sending only the final analysis results back to Earth.
