Spectra Aircraft, a subsidiary of S7 Group, has officially received a developer certificate for aviation technology. This certification confirms that the company meets all regulatory requirements for designing aircraft. The process involved a thorough review of the company's internal documentation and inspections of its design bureaus located in Moscow and the Stupino district of the Moscow region.
The development program for the Tango aircraft has now entered the engineering testing phase. Experimental models have already logged over 100 flight hours. Engineers are currently evaluating aerodynamic performance and system functionality to refine the design. The team is finalizing preparations for the mock-up commission, which will be followed by formal ground and flight certification tests.
The Tango is designed as a light training aircraft. It will feature a 200-horsepower engine developed by SKB ARD, another division within S7 Group. The airframe is constructed from carbon fiber supplied by the Composite Division of Rosatom. The estimated market price for the aircraft is set at 100 ₽ million.
