Users of Samsung Galaxy smartphones are reporting significant network issues following the installation of the One UI 9 update. The problems primarily manifest as an inability to connect to Wi-Fi networks or a failure of the device to recognize SIM cards.

Affected models include the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy Z Fold 7, where users experience random Wi-Fi disconnections or errors. Some owners report that their devices can only connect to 2.4GHz networks, while 5GHz connections remain completely inaccessible.

Owners of Galaxy A56, A36, and A52s devices have reported that their phones stopped recognizing SIM cards after the update. Standard troubleshooting steps, such as resetting network settings, removing the SIM card, or restarting in safe mode, have proven ineffective.

The widespread nature of these issues, which emerged immediately after the One UI 9 installation, points to a software-related defect rather than a hardware failure. Samsung has not yet issued an official response regarding these connectivity problems.
