Salesforce is currently in negotiations to acquire the AI-driven research platform Listen Labs. While the potential deal is valued at $2 billion, sources indicate that discussions are ongoing and may not lead to a final agreement. Neither company has issued an official statement regarding the potential transaction.

Listen Labs operates a platform that facilitates customer research by connecting brands with a network of 50 million participants. The service utilizes AI moderators to conduct interviews at scale and synthesize feedback. Earlier this year, the company secured $100 million in a Series B funding round, which brought its valuation to $500 million.

The startup counts companies such as Microsoft, Sweetgreen, and Perplexity among its clients. Listen Labs claims to have interviewed over 1 million people within its first nine months of operation. The platform is designed to provide rapid consumer insights to assist businesses in product development and market growth strategies.

This potential acquisition follows a series of recent investments by Salesforce. In June, the corporation announced plans to acquire the AI customer service platform Fin for $3.6 billion. Additionally, Salesforce completed the acquisition of the metering and rating platform m3ter on July 1 to enhance its Agentforce Revenue Management capabilities.
