Eugenia Kuyda, founder of Replika, has officially launched Wabi, a multiplayer personal AI assistant. The platform functions as a messenger app that allows users to manage multiple agentic threads for various tasks and long-term goals.

Wabi 2.0 automates the creation of custom apps based on user email connections. Users can also request specific tools, such as health trackers or event planners, within dedicated threads. The system is designed to avoid the limitations of single-thread interfaces found in competing products like Muse and Instinct.

The platform emphasizes a multiplayer design, enabling users to share threads with others. Participants can grant access to information like calendars or bank details, with all requests for personal data visible to everyone in the chat. Wabi is SOC 2 compliant and stores most user data in the U.S.

Kuyda previously raised $20 million in a pre-seed round for Wabi last year. The service is currently free, and the company is in discussions to secure additional funding while it continues to evaluate potential business models.
