The French-American startup Reduck has successfully closed a pre-seed funding round, securing $3 million. The investment was led by Daphni, with additional backing from Drysdale Ventures and Galion.exe. The company intends to use the capital to grow its team, specifically focusing on AI engineering, full-stack development, and infrastructure.
Reduck develops technology designed to help AI agents interact with websites and business tools that lack traditional APIs or Model Context Protocol interfaces. By using the platform's Reduck MCP, agents can execute predefined automation scripts instead of relying on slow, browser-based interactions like clicking and typing.
The company claims its solution makes AI agents three times faster and more cost-effective for tasks such as market research or invoice processing. Currently, the platform provides a library of over 1,200 ready-to-run scripts for more than 250 websites.
Looking ahead, the startup is building a system for agents to autonomously create and maintain these scripts. It is also preparing a developer offering to help teams connect custom AI systems to internal business applications, including CRM platforms and specialized portals in insurance and healthcare.
