Neural Concept SA, a Swiss engineering AI company, has introduced the Model Context Protocol Bridge. This new capability allows AI agents to interact directly with commercial computer-aided design and simulation software.
The platform aims to automate complex software environments for large engineering firms. By handling tasks like geometry cleanup and mesh generation, the tool enables engineers to focus on more critical development work.
Neural Concept, founded in 2019, provides AI-augmented engineering platforms for sectors including automotive, aerospace, energy, and semiconductors. The new bridge ensures companies maintain full control over their data and software.
The technology significantly accelerates simulation workflows. For example, one customer reduced the time required to prepare a wheel rim model from a full day to three minutes using the new bridge.
According to CEO Pierre Baqué, the solution allows AI to operate the software that shapes physical products at an enterprise scale. This helps manufacturers shorten development cycles despite a shortage of engineering experts.
