M.Video is integrating artificial intelligence into its software development life cycle and operational workflows. The company currently utilizes AI tools to review code changes, generate test scenarios, manage product data, and analyze customer inquiries.

The retailer is testing a chatbot among a limited group of users to facilitate broader AI access. Future plans involve building a corporate AI platform with dedicated workspaces, allowing employees to query internal documentation and integrate with project management systems.

Irina Klimkova, head of the AI team at M.Video, stated that department heads are identifying 3 to 5 repetitive tasks for potential automation. The company is also launching training programs to teach staff how to craft prompts and prepare materials using AI tools.

To mitigate risks, M.Video has implemented strict protocols for data handling. The company mandates human oversight for high-stakes tasks and plans to strip personal and confidential information before sending data to external language models.
