Lightfield, an AI-native CRM platform, has secured $47 million in a Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. The investment round also included participation from Maverick Capital, Coatue, Greylock Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Audacious Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. Following this round, the company's valuation is estimated at approximately $121 million, bringing its total funding raised to over $100 million.
Founded in 2020 by former Meta engineers Keith Peiris and Henri Liriani, the company previously operated as Tome, an AI presentation tool that reached a valuation of $300 million in 2023. After pivoting, the founders spent a year developing Lightfield in stealth mode. The platform automates CRM data entry by ingesting unstructured information from emails, calls, and meetings to create a queryable business model.
Since its public launch in November 2025, Lightfield has onboarded more than 5,000 companies. The startup reports that over half of its daily active users spend more than one hour within the system. Investors, including A16z partners Joe Schmidt IV and Alex Rampell, view the platform as a necessary system of record for businesses integrating AI agents into their commercial workflows.
