Amazon subsidiary Bee has introduced two AI-powered recording devices, Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse. Both products are designed to capture conversations and convert them into summaries, to-do lists, and actionable insights. The devices integrate with tools like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook to automate follow-up emails and meeting scheduling.

The Bee Frontier is a wearable device that can be attached to clothing or worn on the wrist. It features an IP67 rating, a dual-microphone array with noise cancellation, and a battery life of up to 7 days. It is available in three colors—Lavender, Sage, and Onyx—at a starting price of $74.99.

The Bee Eclipse is a magnetic accessory that attaches to the back of a smartphone. It offers a longer battery life of over 21 days and comes in four colors: Silver, Midnight, Honey, and Blush. This model is priced at $99.99. Both devices prioritize privacy, as raw audio is not stored or shared, and users are prompted to obtain consent before recording.

Bee offers a free tier that includes basic features like conversation summaries and a 14-day history. For advanced functionality, such as unlimited summaries, integration with Amazon Alexa+ and Amazon.com, and a personal AI assistant, users can subscribe to Bee Pro for $11.99 per month. New hardware buyers receive a 30-day free trial of the Pro service.
