Korean Air has officially integrated Starlink satellite internet across its fleet, becoming the first full-service airline in East Asia to offer this connectivity. Passengers can now access high-speed internet during flights, enabling video streaming, gaming, and remote work without significant restrictions. This service is available to travelers in all cabin classes on aircraft equipped with the necessary hardware.

The adoption of Starlink is part of a broader trend in the aviation industry. United Airlines is currently outfitting its long-haul Boeing 777-200 fleet with the technology, aiming to equip over 1,000 aircraft by the end of 2026. Meanwhile, Austrian Airlines has begun deploying the system on its Airbus A320neo jets, with plans to cover 20 aircraft by the end of the 2026/27 winter season.

Southwest Airlines has also started incorporating Starlink into its operations. Passengers flying with Southwest can verify if their specific flight offers satellite connectivity by checking for the WiFi Powered by Starlink label within the airline's official mobile application.
