Tinker Tailor Talent Ltd., the operator of the hiring platform Jack & Jill, has secured $40 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Air Street Capital, with participation from Madrona, Creandum, and Entrepreneurs First. This latest injection brings the total capital raised by the company to $60 million, following a seed round held ten months ago.

The platform utilizes generative AI agents to automate the job search process. Users interact with an agent named Jack, who acts as a career coach via voice calls. According to the company, job seekers have spent over 12,000 hours in conversations with Jack, with some individuals logging more than 44 hours of interaction.

On the employer side, an agent named Jill analyzes job descriptions and requirements to identify suitable candidates. The system replaces traditional resume submissions and manual screening with automated matchmaking based on contextual data. The company reports that its agents have already arranged more than 25,000 interviews.

Jack & Jill currently works with 5,000 companies, including businesses such as Tavus, Fyxer AI, Ramp, Attio, Multiverse Group, and Corgi Insurance Services. The platform processes approximately 5,000 new interviews each month. Co-founders Matt Wilson and Saaras Mehan aim to scale this agent-based model for global job market operations by 2030.
