IPX, a platform for intellectual property tokenization, has secured $4 million in a seed funding round. The company reached a valuation of $125 million following this investment. The round was led by Bitsurge Holdings and YICIPX Holdings Family Office, with support from various strategic investors.
The platform is built on the Base blockchain and features an agentic operating system, a tokenized launchpad, and the IPX Exchange. It aims to allow creators to tokenize, advertise, and monetize their intellectual property. The system integrates traditional financial infrastructure with blockchain capabilities, including non-custodial virtual checking accounts.
More than 100 celebrities, including athletes, actors, and YouTube creators, have signed exclusive agreements to tokenize their original IP. The platform will support various assets, such as Hollywood film and television series, video games, and creator membership tokens. Every project token on the exchange is paired with the native IPX token.
The native IPX token facilitates operations within the ecosystem. Revenue generated from platform fees, sponsorships, and subscriptions will be used to fund token buybacks. Users can trade and stake IP tokens on the exchange. The official launch of the IPXOS, the exchange, and the IPX token is scheduled for November 15, 2026.
