Injective has launched the Super Intelligence Compute Index, a benchmark tracking hourly rental rates for five NVIDIA GPUs. The index allows traders to take leveraged positions on the cost of AI compute through perpetual futures on the decentralized exchange Helix.

This launch follows previous initiatives by the network to tokenize compute costs. On August 18, 2025, Injective introduced a perpetual futures market for NVIDIA H100 GPU rentals, which allows up to 5x leverage. By late 2025, this market reached over $20.3 million in cumulative trading volume.

Pricing data for the H100 market is provided by Squaretower via a custom decentralized oracle that updates hourly. Prior to this, on January 30, 2025, the network launched the AIX AI Index, which combined AI-related crypto tokens with traditional equities like NVIDIA.

The new index aims to provide a broader benchmark for market participants, including companies seeking to hedge against fluctuations in compute costs. The platform notes that while the H100 market established a foundation, the new index expands the scope to five different chip types.
