IC Tech and Lenzoloto, part of the OKTO group, have completed pilot tests of domestic Private LTE (pLTE) equipment. The trials took place at production sites in the Bodaibinsky district of the Irkutsk region.

During the project, the companies confirmed the capability to transmit data and voice calls over distances of up to 3 km. The tests were successful even in areas with complex terrain and no direct line of sight.

The pilot utilized the Foros base station, developed by IC Tech. Specialists tested the integration of the base station with the pLTE network core and verified VoLTE voice call functionality.

The team conducted a radio survey of 14 positions across the production territory to determine equipment placement and antenna azimuths. These results will serve as the basis for future network design.

Lenzoloto plans to use the new infrastructure to implement digital solutions, including dispatching systems, telemetry, and industrial safety monitoring. The next phase involves drafting network designs and preparing regulatory documentation.
