New York-based AI healthcare startup Forus has secured $150 million in a Series C funding round. This investment brings the company's valuation to $3 billion, marking a threefold increase over the past four months.

Bain Capital Ventures led the latest financing round. Other investors include Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint Ventures, BoxGroup, and Pear VC. This follows a Series B round in May 2026, where the company, formerly known as Tandem, raised over $160 million.

The company's total funding now exceeds $300 million. Forus plans to utilize the new capital to expand its operations into additional medical specialties. The platform currently operates across all 50 US states, covering 85% of residential ZIP codes.

The Forus platform utilizes AI agents to automate workflows between prescription and treatment, including insurance authorizations and pharmacy coordination. The service is provided at no cost to patients or providers, with revenue generated through partnerships with nine of the world's 15 largest biopharmaceutical companies.
