Flai, a startup providing AI-powered software for car dealerships, has secured $27 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Base10 Partners, with participation from Friedkin Group, Findlay Automotive, Toyota’s venture arm, Y Combinator, and First Round Capital.
The company’s platform manages customer communications, including phone calls, emails, and text messages, and handles outbound campaigns. Currently, the software facilitates 50,000 appointment bookings per month across sales and service departments.
Flai reports a 20x increase in revenue over the past year. The startup now works with more than 10 of the top 50 dealer groups in the United States and has expanded its team to approximately 40 employees.
The software is designed to be deployed within 10 days of contract signing. The platform supports multilingual capabilities, as demonstrated by a deployment in Puerto Rico where the system handles transitions between Spanish and English during customer interactions.
