Endra has launched Power Studio, an agentic platform for electrical engineering. The system integrates design, calculations, simulation, and documentation, aiming to replace fragmented workflows. According to the company, the platform can complete the electrical design of a 500,000-square-foot commercial building in less than one day, whereas traditional methods typically require two months.

The platform features AI agents for routing and unit placement, a physics engine for compliance checks, and a document engine capable of generating Revit models, diagrams, and bills of materials. Additionally, the Type Rooms function allows for the replication of room designs across a building, while Playbooks enable firms to enforce standardized engineering practices across their teams.

To facilitate expansion into mechanical engineering, Endra has acquired the Swiss AI research firm Planlabs. Founded in 2024, Planlabs specializes in automating building system design through geometry and physics engines. The five-person team from Planlabs will join Endra to support the development of new mechanical capabilities, with a dedicated plumbing module scheduled for release in 2027.

The launch and acquisition follow a $50 million Series A funding round. This investment was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from existing backers Notion Capital and Norrsken VC. CEO Niklas Lindgren stated that the platform ensures engineers maintain control over the design process, noting that customer data is not utilized for model training.
