Bureau 1440, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, plans to launch its next-generation satellite communication service in 2027. The company aims to provide coverage for remote regions across Russia, positioning the technology as an alternative to traditional terrestrial infrastructure.

According to CEO Alexey Shelobkov, the service will expand as the company grows its low-Earth orbit satellite constellation. This infrastructure is intended to facilitate access to digital services, including government platforms, financial tools, and digital ecosystems, in isolated areas.

The company previously tested its satellite communication technology during the State Duma elections held from September 18 to 20. The system provided connectivity for remote electronic voting in the Arctic region, marking the first practical application of the service for public tasks.
