Beeline and Bureau 1440, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, are preparing to launch trials of hybrid communication technology. The project aims to integrate terrestrial mobile networks with satellite channels, allowing users to access the internet through base stations connected to satellite infrastructure.

The upcoming tests will take place in Moscow and several regional locations. Engineers will evaluate the compatibility of Bureau 1440 satellite terminals with YADRO base stations and existing Beeline network equipment. The primary goal is to provide connectivity in areas lacking traditional infrastructure.

Bureau 1440 is also conducting separate tests with regional operators in Yakutia and the Far East to assess performance across different time zones and weather conditions. These trials focus on the seamless integration of satellite systems with local network architectures.

The partnership between Beeline and Bureau 1440 was formalized in June. Under the agreement, the aerospace company will supply equipment and communication channels to link current and future base stations to its low-Earth orbit satellite constellation.

In 2026, Bureau 1440 successfully deployed the first two batches of its Rassvet satellites. These spacecraft feature 5G NTN architecture, upgraded power systems, next-generation inter-satellite laser terminals, and plasma propulsion units.
