Bureau 1440, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, conducted a satellite video call between Moscow and a Nornickel industrial site in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The test utilized the company's proprietary subscriber terminal and the Rassvet low-orbit satellite constellation.
The collaboration follows a cooperation agreement signed in May 2026. Nornickel intends to integrate this broadband service for real-time video analytics, production monitoring, data transmission, and as a redundant communication channel for its facilities.
Additionally, Bureau 1440 signed a forward contract with the Seligdar holding to provide satellite connectivity for gold mining complexes in the Aldan cluster. The infrastructure will also support the development of the Kyuchus gold deposit in Yakutia.
The satellite solution is intended to ensure continuous production cycles, support industrial automation, and provide communication for personnel in remote Arctic regions where terrestrial fiber-optic lines are unavailable.
