New York-based startup Blee has secured $20 million in a Series A funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $27 million. The round was co-led by Fin Capital and SMBC Fin Atlas Beyond Fund, with participation from Hannah Grey VC, National Bank of Canada, and existing investors including Y Combinator, Penny Jar Capital, Cardumen Capital, and Treasury.
Founded in 2022, Blee provides AI-driven software designed to assist legal and compliance teams in reviewing marketing materials. The platform automates the checking of content against regulatory requirements, internal policies, and brand standards. It also offers continuous monitoring of live content, such as influencer posts and websites, to ensure ongoing compliance.
The company reports that its annual recurring revenue grew 10-fold between June 2025 and June 2026. Its current client base includes major corporations such as PayPal, NerdWallet, Expedia, and SoFi, spanning sectors like financial services, travel, and life sciences.
Blee intends to utilize the new funding to expand its platform across the entire content lifecycle, enter new geographic markets and industries, and increase adoption among large enterprises. This expansion comes as industry projections suggest the share of AI-automated content will rise from 16% in 2026 to 36% by 2028.
