Apple has released the 27.2 software updates across its ecosystem, including iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. The primary focus of the iOS 27.2 update is the integration of new AI capabilities for Siri, which now includes a memory feature to recall past user conversations.

Siri can now access a broader range of data sources, such as voicemails and message attachments. Users also gain the ability to exclude specific applications from Siri, Search, and suggestions. Additionally, Siri AI support has expanded to five new languages: French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, although it remains unavailable in Europe and mainland China.

The update introduces context-aware suggestions in Messages, allowing users to convert conversation details into calendar entries. Other additions include SynthID watermarking in Photos, user profiles for the Apple TV app, and new branding for Apple Music. Furthermore, the iPhone Duo foldable now supports the Apple Pencil.

The macOS 27.2 update, codenamed Golden Gate, incorporates the same Siri memory and language enhancements. Similar updates have been rolled out to the Apple Watch and visionOS. Beta references suggest new gesture recognition features for Photos, Notes, and Safari, potentially linked to future touch support for MacBook Pro models.
