Cisco Systems Inc. has introduced new AI-driven capabilities for its infrastructure management and security portfolio. The updates include the Model Foundry service, which allows organizations to deploy custom AI models using their own data, and Model Context Protocol servers for standardized network telemetry access.
The company is integrating ThousandEyes intelligence into Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points for continuous performance monitoring. Additionally, Cisco IQ, which currently monitors over 20 million devices for 16,000 customers, now features AI-powered playbooks to assess quantum-resistant security readiness and manage software vulnerabilities.
Cisco is expanding its partner program with new financial incentives, including a 50% increase in annual contract value growth rewards and a doubling of adoption incentives. A 2% cross-selling bonus is now available for partners introducing customers to new architectures like Splunk, with a unified distributor index planned for spring 2027.
New security offerings include quantum-resilient Wi-Fi 7 access points developed with Qualcomm, Intel, and Microsoft. The company also launched Cisco Privileged Infrastructure Access, built with Gravitational Inc.’s Teleport platform, to manage secure access for administrators and AI agents using short-lived certificates.
