Apple is integrating an AI assistant into its productivity suite, including Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. The tool utilizes AI models from both Apple and OpenAI to assist with document drafting, slide design, and data visualization. Users can now leverage these capabilities to restructure text, animate presentations, and organize complex datasets through automated suggestions.

The update introduces support for the Model Context Protocol on macOS 27 and later, enabling third-party AI agents to connect directly with these applications. The assistant is currently rolling out in beta for devices compatible with Apple Intelligence, specifically those running iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27 and newer.

Creative software updates include a Generate Fill feature for Pixelmator Pro, which allows users to edit images via text prompts. Logic Pro for Mac and iPad receives a Liquid Glass redesign and an AI assistant capable of setting up vocal tracks and editing projects. Additionally, a new on-device AI browser will automatically classify and tag audio files.

Final Cut Pro is also receiving updates, including direct integration with MotionVFX for templates and graphics. The app will feature a new Content Hub containing a library of stock media. These updates to the Apple Creator’s Studio suite will be available to existing subscribers at no additional cost starting in November.
