Anthropic has released a comprehensive update for its Claude mobile applications on iOS and Android. The new version introduces multi-account support, allowing users to remain logged into several accounts simultaneously and switch between them without needing to sign out.
For iPad users, the update enhances multitasking capabilities. Content can now be displayed alongside the chat interface rather than covering it, with an option to expand to full screen. Android users on larger devices, including foldables and Chromebooks, gain improved support with resizable sidebars, keyboard shortcuts, and trackpad functionality.
The voice mode has been updated for faster response times and better background noise handling. Additionally, the app now supports 33 languages, adding 24 new options such as Bengali and Turkish. Claude also gains Apple CarPlay compatibility, enabling hands-free use for drivers.
The company announced that a pull-to-search feature for iPhone and iPad is currently in development. This upcoming tool is intended to simplify access to chats, projects, and application settings.
