1C Group and AKAM have announced a strategic partnership to launch a new initiative called 1C-AKAM:Portal. This project is built on the 1C:Enterprise.Element technology and aims to facilitate the development of B2B portals, personal accounts, and web applications for external users such as clients, suppliers, and dealers.

The platform is designed for corporate and mid-sized businesses, as well as 1C developers and partners. It provides a unified technological foundation that allows developers to avoid building basic functionality from scratch, thereby reducing development time for various business solutions.

The initiative covers several areas, including B2B sales, partner management, order processing, and tender management. By offering both free and paid libraries and components, the project seeks to lower the entry barrier for new developers and accelerate the creation of industry-specific applications.

Boris Nuraliev, Director of 1C Group, stated that the platform will enable partners to create applications for external users more efficiently. Petr Petrukhin, CEO of AKAM, noted that the collaboration will scale their experience in CRM and partner interaction automation to provide faster deployment for customers.
