Omega Soft, an IT company based in Yoshkar-Ola, has reported the loss of its proprietary industrial software following a legal dispute. The company, which has operated for 15 years, claims that its software was seized without compensation after a conflict involving a large corporate client.
According to the company, the dispute originated from the client's inability to configure their servers over a seven-month period. As a result of the legal proceedings under case number A40-311087/2025, Omega Soft was denied payment of 24.7 million rubles for its services.
The legal fallout also included the collection of a 3.2 million ruble independent guarantee from the firm. Furthermore, the company was added to the Register of Unfair Suppliers, a move that the firm's leadership states has effectively destroyed their business operations.
