UK-based AI startup Zenithon has secured $10 million in a new funding round. The investment round was supported by BACKED, Lunar, Seraphim, MMC, and SOSV, as well as several founders and directors from major hyperscalers.

The company is building world models designed to simulate complex physical systems. These models aim to predict outcomes for technologies such as fusion reactors, rockets, and semiconductor manufacturing by exploring a million design points in the time currently required for a single simulation.

Zenithon was co-founded by Alex Higginbottom and Abetharan Antony. The team includes researchers from global laboratories and is advised by industry experts, including Meta board director Charlie Songhurst, former Commonwealth Fusion Systems CTO Dan Brunner, and NYU professor Zongyi Li.

The startup plans to allocate the capital toward recruitment and computing resources. This investment will support the company's goal of releasing new models every three months and expanding its operations in San Francisco and across the United States.
