Zabaykalsky Krai has become the 49th region to join the Moscow-based Suppliers Portal as a customer. This integration allows regional state and municipal institutions to conduct procurement processes on the platform, gaining access to a network of over 420,000 suppliers from across Russia.
Local businesses in Zabaykalsky Krai have been active on the platform since 2015. Currently, more than 280 companies and entrepreneurs from the region are registered on the portal. Their goods and services, including construction, IT, and medical supplies, are already supplied to Moscow, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and other regions.
Zabaykalsky Krai is the sixth region to join the platform in 2026, following the Kursk, Jewish Autonomous, and Lipetsk regions, the Donetsk People's Republic, and Kamchatka Krai. The portal, launched in 2013, aims to automate small-scale procurement and features a catalog of over 3.7 million unique items.
The platform facilitates over 1,500 contracts daily. The Moscow Department for Competition Policy serves as the functional customer for the portal, while the Moscow Department of Information Technologies oversees its technical development.
