The Moscow Region Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications has implemented an AI-based system across all regional MFC offices. The technology automates the processing of documents for popular services, including passport issuance and SNILS registration.
The AI tool is integrated directly into the staff's workflow software. When an operator scans a document, the neural network identifies the document type and automatically populates the required fields with personal data. The staff member only needs to verify the information before submission.
The system is currently used for processing internal passports, five-year international passports, SNILS applications, and child citizenship confirmations. This automation aims to reduce manual data entry and minimize the risk of typographical errors during the application process.
The regional network currently includes 212 multifunctional centers. Additionally, these locations feature nearly 900 digital workstations where consultants assist citizens with online applications.
