The incident involving an Yijing X9 model occurred in Taizhou, Zhejiang. General Manager Zeng Qinglin stated that the vehicle was stationary when it was struck from behind by a heavy dump truck traveling at speed.
Following the collision, the company's eCall system initiated contact with the vehicle occupants and alerted emergency services. All three passengers inside the car were unharmed and successfully evacuated the vehicle through functional doors.
Smoke and fire were observed at the rear of the vehicle while waiting for traffic police to arrive. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, and subsequent inspections confirmed that the power battery remained intact.
The company is currently providing support to the vehicle owner. Official findings regarding the cause and liability of the accident will be determined by the local traffic police and fire department investigations.
