A new prototype of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra has been spotted testing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The vehicle features a redesigned aerodynamic package, most notably a large twin-plane rear wing mounted on swan-neck supports, which replaces the fixed carbon-fiber spoiler found on the production model.

The test vehicle, identified by Munich registration plates M SU 7650 E, also includes a larger front splitter, revised side skirts, and additional vents above the front wheels. Reports suggest the rear wing may incorporate a movable section for a potential drag reduction system, though Xiaomi has not confirmed this functionality.

While the production SU7 Ultra utilizes a three-motor powertrain producing 1,138 kW and a 93.7 kWh battery, Xiaomi has not disclosed if the prototype features any mechanical or electrical upgrades. The company has previously showcased experimental quad-motor systems and active suspension, but their presence on this test car remains unverified.

The current production model is priced at ¥529 900 in China. While media reports suggest a potential 2027 arrival for an updated version, Xiaomi has not provided official details regarding specifications, pricing, or a launch date. The testing timeline aligns with the brand's planned expansion into European markets.
