Xiaomi Auto has launched the second phase of public beta testing for its Vehicle Assistant feature within the official mobile application. The company is currently recruiting users to participate in the trial program.
The new functionality allows owners to interact with their vehicles through conversational commands. Users can check the current status of their car, execute immediate or scheduled control commands, and create custom automation tasks.
The assistant also analyzes driving styles and learns individual usage habits. Xiaomi notes that the feature is still in development and will be refined based on feedback from the selected participants.
Interested car owners can apply through the app, with the selection process based on the provided registration information. Xiaomi will notify successful applicants by November 2, 2024, via in-app messages and SMS.
Participants do not need to update their vehicle's onboard software to access the beta. Instead, they simply need to upgrade their Xiaomi Auto mobile application to the designated public beta version.
