Warp, the business name of Poaster Technologies Inc., has launched the Warp Agent as part of its Warp 2.0 release. The tool allows companies to automate HR processes such as onboarding, tax compliance, and benefits administration using natural language configurations.

The platform enables users to create systematic workflows that trigger based on schedules or specific events. Administrators can set granular permissions, define autonomous actions, and maintain an audit trail of all agent activities to ensure control over sensitive payroll and compensation data.

The company reports that its automation tools can reduce the time spent managing a new hire during the first 30 days from 10–20 hours to less than two hours. Warp provides preconfigured templates, including executive reports on payroll and hiring trends, which customers can modify.

Warp Agent is currently available through an early access program. Subscription plans include limited usage, with additional capacity available for purchase. Pricing for the platform starts at $35 per person per month.

Based in New York, Warp has raised a total of $85 million in funding, including a $60 million round secured in June. The company aims to compete with established HR platforms like Workday by rebuilding employee operations with AI-native technology.
