VS Robotics has launched Incognify, a security layer designed to ensure compliance with data protection laws when using large language models. The service automatically identifies and masks sensitive information, such as names, passport details, and financial records, before sending data to an AI model.

The system operates by replacing sensitive entities with secure markers. Once the AI generates a response, Incognify restores the original data. The process is designed for real-time performance, with a p95 latency of 0.1 seconds, ensuring that the masking process does not impact user experience.

Incognify is deployed as an on-premise solution within the client's infrastructure. This approach ensures that sensitive data remains within the company's security perimeter and is not shared with third-party cloud providers. The technology is intended for sectors with strict privacy requirements.

The service is primarily targeted at the financial sector, banking, healthcare, insurance, and retail. It is designed to assist with tasks such as call center analysis, credit scoring, and processing large volumes of documents while maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.

VS Robotics is currently exploring the potential to adapt the Incognify technology for individual users. This future iteration would serve as a digital hygiene tool, allowing users to automatically anonymize sensitive data before interacting with external AI services.
