F13 has officially exited stealth mode, securing $5 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Credo Ventures and Point Nine Capital, with contributions from angel investors Carles Reina of Baobab Ventures and Jack Richardson of mainframe.
Founded by Gregory Janik and Ingimar Tomasson, the company focuses on foundation models for vector graphics. The technology is designed to generate precise, editable visuals from text, images, or existing assets, prioritizing technical accuracy over purely creative output.
The platform aims to solve common limitations in existing image-generation models, such as incorrect data representation or poor scaling. F13 targets professional use cases, including data visualizations, infographics, scientific diagrams, and brand-consistent marketing layouts.
The startup has launched in early access, providing a developer API and a web-based platform for teams to manage and edit designs. A public release is scheduled for later this year, with the new capital supporting compute resources, talent acquisition, and further model development.
